Even with S-M
Or M-S Merc would be far from RB, Hamilton would be challenged by Perez

Amazing race from Ricciardo, happy for him
Given the pace Ricciardo got on a M-S strategy, winning the F1.5 race, surely that would have given Lewis a better race too. I think it would have been a lot closer, but I doubt it would have been enough
I wonder if that W13 just was not enjoying the tyres and had much worse life

It seemed to be setup for softs, but used a strategy of hards!

I think Mercs update is overshadowed by the altitude talk. I expect they will challenge for pole in Brazil and AbuDhabi.🤯

Congrats to all!

Checo's father is just a heart-warming guy. You can always tell he is super proud of Checo.

Ricciardo did the strategy I was expecting the two Mercedes to take.

Well that was a dull race. The only excitement was brought by Daniel ruining Tsunoda's race and then driving like the Daniel of old to overcome the 10 second penalty he received.

Would it be silly to say that RB have maybe still 3-5 tenths advantage in race pace per lap if they really were pushed?

I bet its going to be a quiet post-race for Sky...giving they only have Toto to interview.

If this is true, then Ferrari might start thinking that 40 point gap maybe isn't so big

I dont think so. I think they said merc were 2 tenths down on RB lap times....and that is red bull being super conservative.

it may not work out like that, the car may be set up to make those hards work, meaning, there is geometry that puts more load in the tyres to keep the temperature where they need, so using soft tire on the same car and at the same time during a race may lead to softs overheating and just generally not being driveable

had there been a full safety car for instance, and George would have been on his very extended Ms, got a swap to S during SC and for some reason Lewis couldn't, it just as well could have been a repeat of what happened earlier in the season, and I don't think Lewis would be happy about that, so George stays on the set strategy regardless, that is the life of the 2.

Lucky for RBR they have their own sponsorship, any of the other teams would have to answer to sponsors for lost airtime
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

Always disappointed when Max and Lewis are both on the podium, just know that the cool down room will be filled with awkward silence
