Expect upgrades.
The main thing is that it is not a plastic bag.
Or a parachute.

Rosberg noted in commentary over the Chinese weekend that red bull direct airflow onto the tyre to cool them, this could be what McLaren are aiming to do.
I heard this too, and was surprised. Apparently they did an interview on Sky with an F1 aerodynamicist on that weekend, and that's what they said.

At least one car this year is looking very McLaren-mushroom-esque around the beam wing.

There are some weather updates with a chance of rain on Saturday and Sunday. The probability is currently estimated at 55%. Data taken from accuweather.

Weather predictions are often pure dodoo even on 24 hour intervals, let alone weekly. It's one of the biggest challenges at the moment actually when it comes to machine learning algorithms.

There are expected patterns in winds and data you have from the earth's atmosphere. But turbulence plays a big factor in ruining the "perfect" predictions.

Maybe they decided to change course?
Having better tyre performance at a circuit which suits the car will help to fight for a win, whereas just improving the low speed performance might win a few poles but still end up 4th- I dunno.

Saying that I’ve been reading quotes from Stella for a while now saying the upgrades will hopefully improve tyre wear.
Like you say, will soon find out!
Obviously an interesting area, tire wear etc. Notice how the raise in pressure during China, brought by Pirelli, seemed to give advantage to this McL chassis in comparison to it's peers ?

The teams and drivers generally complain about raising base pressure, but it did appear to bring LN into closer pace relative certainly to Ferrari and RB.

Usually it's implemented to control temperature peak under highest load by taking elasticity and deformation out of the carcass and prevent too umuch heat building there, to ultimately control structural failure.

Appears to fit well with this chassis as it exists now.

Yes they did didn’t they, was China the only time they raised them this season?

Did they say who the aerodynamicist was?
I know they get their pre-race info off a few teams one of them being Mclaren, so if the aerodynamicist was from McLaren it would align with what is being discussed here and they are now focusing more on tyre performance with the new upgrade?
I dunno just speculating.

I have nothing against your words. We even have a Russian proverb: find out the forecast for tomorrow the day after tomorrow.

They haven't said at another GP from my recall.

Usually seen when there's predominant turns in same direction at v-high load, banking (as here) when cars spend significant time in that phase with high drive torque too. Potentially Zandvoort,, Silverstone etc .... is there a McL pattern here ?

Whether it's this chassis advancing OR the lighter on tires in wear respect chassis being more compromised and coming back towards the McL race pace is not clear.

Bit this characteristic could, tentatively, give circumstances that this chassis lineage can extract more from.

The MasterCard emblem completely merges with the orange color of the papaya. If they sign the title card, how clearly will the emblem be visible? Or will they apply it to the area where black is present?

If they snag it, I training l reckon the dark blue returns to become the background color for the MasterCard logo

Probably the top half of the engine cover, Chrome gets bumped to the side pod or rear wing to share with OKC

just like how Chrome/OKX bumped Vuse to a smaller spot

Not surprising. The team already has a strong core of engineers. Last year has already proven this. All you have to do is maintain the momentum and everything will work out.
