Nah, it's fake. It's a lizard cosplaying as DR3.

Norris bottled again.
Said it many times. Norris is nowhere near good enough to challenge Max. Too many errors. Nowhere near his level.

McLaren now strong on the straight, slow speed and high speed. Pressure on RB
Ferrari will all of that in 2023 with the SF-23.
It's race pace and tire usage that matters.
And maybe this has become better as well.. Either way McLaren is the fastest car now from all data available
Like I said they are generating to much tire heat which is going to hurt their tire deg in the race.
The soft tire perfectly highlighted it.

Max and both Mclarens at the very least, both sliding on the softs. Sainz also locked up into turn 17

Leclerc had issue at T1, McLarens sliding around, Sainz lockup T17, Max issue in T13-T14

Perez and Ricciardo are the ones IDK about

Lando didn't bottle anything up. We don't need to have these reactions each time. The driver cannot outdrive the car. McLaren are clearly having tire issues and the track is too hot. Tomorrow will be hotter still but Sunday should be cooler and they will be fine in the race on sunday on the harder compounds, tire deg remains to be seen and there's tomorrow for that.

He did make a mistake though. He said on inlap he pushed too hard and I believe the telemetry will show a significant error in sector 1. Lando was significantly slower than Piastri in S1 (29.8s)

What's a good driver supposed to say? We don't know exactly what he had to deal with setup wise there so it's hard for us to tell if the mistake was his or simply the car balance was different with the softs and not able to deal with the same cornering as he did with the mediums.

All we know is that MCL went from 1-2 to far back, both drivers bottled up with similar gaps? Sounds to me it's more the car.

Altro errore di Norris che poteva fare 27.6 “sono stato sciocco, l’auto funziona”

He also just gave an interview in paddock where he said he pushed too hard and made an error at Turn 1

I don't know if F1 has the right idea with the sprints. That qualifying was not enjoyable. It's just not enjoyable watching people struggling with their cars because they have so little preparation time. I get that it's "the same for everyone" but the quality of the product is suffering.

It's like going to watching a football match where nobody practiced. I'm not interested in random grid orders because nobody practiced. It's not the correct way to introduce excitement.

I'd think so too, but with more laps on the soft tomorrow, they may still get it right. The main problem was sector one, so it's not like they just can't keep the tires alive.
