Porsche's front brake cooling solution is very elegant in my opinion. It's like an F1 style scoop under the bodywork, so they do not have brake cooling inlets in the nosecone.

Both the Porsche and the Ferrari use a front wing hidden under the upper nose section:

Qualifying today was insane, in the best way.

I was watching. Clearly the field is very close to the point that drivers are making a difference. Tyre choice should be more visible as afaik ferrari was on the mediums.

Kobayashi is clearly a good driver, a bit on the limit given the red flag.

Looking forward to hyperpole, shocked that porsche showed up kinda poorly.

Looks like the red flag caused Toyota #7 to be excluded from hyperpole and will start 23rd.

Jota crash in fp2 will also be a big deal come the race i think.

Hyperpole now delayed because of barrier repair.


Will be at the track this week end like last year.
In free practice Toyota looked the fastest, but the other might hide their pace. Porsche are favorite. BMW is the big surprise at the moment. Ferrari has a true speed but yet to show everything

Ferrari will struggle with the negative bop past 250k. Porsche or Toyota will win this imho.

Disappointing from Ferrari with P4 and P5.
It was close for the local S. Boudrais but Estre did a brillant lap when the track was the fastest

Ferrari was lapping on mediums and had their best attempt ruined by the red flag. Fuoco only had fuel for one lap and that mistake cost him while the porsche came back on electric power to the pits for how little fuel they had.

I don’t understand why Bourdais walked out…
