A very interesting video, about what F1 drivers see and look at, while driving an F1 car.
Brundle: I imagine you sitting on your sofa at home watching [the race] and going "Why are you doing that?" "You shouldn't be doing this!" "Do that." "Bring him in now." "Don't bring him in yet."
Brawn: I think it's very easy to fall into the trap of becoming a cynic once you've stopped racing. You don't have the all the facts, and I know all the mistakes I made when I was racing, and the decisions you made which were made for good reasons, which looked silly afterwards, but in fact at that time it was the right decision to make, but it just then doesn't work out.
I often wondered what he was supposed to be the boss of? Perhaps a boy-band? But I won't criticise his talent, right there with Alonso& Vettel. All three are in the top 6-8 f1 drivers of all time speedwise. Ricciardo is awesome too, the driving talent in F1 right now, crushes any other period, quite easily. We then have a whole second group of championship capable drivers in guys like Rosberg, Hulkenberg,Perez,Verstappen, Raikkonen, Massa and even Bottas. Hell the "pay drivers" are all top drawer talents with tons of lower level successes. It's crazy how much talent is in there right now.strad wrote:the BOSS???the BOSS.
Guess we know where your biases lie.
These are always the best. I could do without all other video angles and also without the commentary.mikeerfol wrote:https://vimeo.com/183725589
