It appears that some people just cannot help themselves. We have had fake sound tracks, quotes from that famous F1 driver...Bruce Lee, comments about team principals etc etc....but nothing about the Qatar GP.. So, a number of posts have been removed. Please try to act like sensible adults and discuss the upcoming race with some civility. Thank you.

Blimey. That RBR rear wing is flapping around like a pair of bloomers on a washing line when DRS is open. Doesn't look like the gap between the upper and lower elements is growing or shrinking though.

Track not as wide as I thought it was, having watched bike racing on it many a year has mislead me to think it was a very wide track. Certainly is, on the start straight, but that's it. Considering they're gonna be single file and how fast they are thru the corners, I don't expect many overtakes - if at all.

It does look like a bit of a tunnel from the onboards. Rather twisty. I guess drive out of the last corner it key to any overtake attempt.

The gravel is really rounded here like pea gravel; you just skip over instead of digging in.

Hamilton having the same race pace as Max on the softs without the new engine scares me

There’s nothing to be afraid of. Exciting! We might go to Abu Dhabi on equal points. =D>

Also Lewis had done 6 laps to Max's 3, and Bottas pace on mediums looked very god after 9 laps!

Watching Verstappen's onboard this one looks like Jeddah without walls. Just a competition of who's the last one to get cramps in their right leg

What's going on with Red Bull's flapping rear wing? Has anyone got some slow motion video of it?

Both Merc and the Bulls are keeping the cards close to the chest still. That is clear by the fact that Gasly, Stroll, Noris were all to close to them. Things will be clear only in qualifying.

Going by the first to practices, the track looks FAST. Looks like it could suit RB sliiightly more than the Mercs, then looks like the Alphas, McLaren, then the Ferraris. Midfield will definitely be close though. I don’t anticipate too much overtaking here.

Given that every team will run different aero setup and wings from track to track, its impossible to say what track would suit what team. This weekend might see mclaren much faster than before due to a slightly more aggressive rear wing... who knows. I dont think its something that we can guess
