lotus in the hands of Trulli...it seems to be a certain disaster....Trulli must have done something really bad in his former life...

Heres more on Schumachers consistency

1:26.017 (26)
1:26.176 (27)
1:26.317 (28)
1:26.670 (29)
1:26.714 (30)
1:26.657 (31)
1:26.538 (32)
1:27.074 (33)
1:27.092 (34)
1:27.673 (35)

Seems very good from that. As a side note, Perez in the Sauber was also very consistent.

So with the winter testing now over, where does everyone rank the teams in terms of pace? (disregard any showboating on low fuel)

perhaps Pirelli over did it with the tires... I mean, what's the point of having a tire that looses so many tenths per lap? Even with conserving them with non agressive driving... 3 stops per race is fine, but will the drivers be willing to push and pay the price by having to stop for one more time? so many quotes saying that their performance is down down down by every meter of the track... Was it Perez who said that you could loose half a second in one corner? :S what's the point of that? :D

Sensational performance by Sergio Perez in the Sauber today. With the Pirelli tyres degrading quickly it will be interesting to see the performances of the teams in the heat of Melbourne.

I just love the dedication of TR.They know there will be endless pitstops opportunities end they prepare for it ...in fact they are so well prepared they can afford to do these many pratise stops.Very alarming for the opponents.
MAYBE Gerhard left the party at ToroRosso abit early....and they can spring a huge surprise this year they would certainly deserve to have a very good year.

1)Red Bull
2)Ferrari

<Big gap>

3) Torro Rosso/Williams/Mclaren/Sauber/Mercedes/Renault (no order here)

<gap>

9)Lotus

<gap>

10)MVR

<Big gap>

11)HRT

@Goran

The point is strategy, it also leaves the driver with a choice. Push hard and get position, but slower in the intervening laps. Or when defending, a driver faces stark choices push or maintain pace.

Spot on IMO

I guess he feels Force India has gone back to no-pointer years :mrgreen:

Williams looks like the 2010 Sauber. Fast and with potential, but very unreliable

I'd put Ferrari on top, then Red Bull, then Mercedes, Toro Rosso, Williams, Renault.
