Right, the 1996 Ferrari, one of the very few John Barnard lemons, when he made an aerodynamic mess of the interpretation of the new rules on side-impact head-protection.

Isn't this the "Caption Competition" thread?
I actually think it's pretty much ok to quote the same pic.

Ferrari demo their 2009 car. Critics suggest the FIA is just going around in circles. According to inside sources, the regulations were well recieved by Ferrari Accountants.
What car is this, and WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO LOSE IT?!?!?!?!?
It's the 1996 Ferrari - one of the all-time great looking F1 cars :D

Yeah, it was beautiful, but only before the midseason mutilation

This looks like a hack. I might do some research or some torrent downloading today of the first few races of 1996...

That car was a total botch job. It was a desperate attempt by Ferrari to get better aero...and it didn't work. I believe they switched back to low-nose for the last couple of races.

I always thought this part of the Forum was ment to be a bit of silly fun. If something Really does offend somebody then we should really give them respect and not attack them for there beliefs.

Can people just go back an remove the pictures that are causing an issue, so we can return this topic to being fun again?

As I recall, no, high-nose was featured to the end of the season. I think they managed to improved aero, but reliability was the biggst problem. Remember Schumacher retiring in French GP warm-up lap.

My mistake.

The F310 was a very beautiful but very buggy F1 car.

I have received positive replies from the two members who initially used the swastica pic. Thanks to them for their understanding. =D>

The swastica in the contest of that pic stands for the genozide of several million people for ideological reason. It certainly was one of the most heinous crimes ever committed in modern history. The survivors of the haulocaust and their relatives deserve that the issue is treated with the proper respect. Germans have committed the crimes and those who did it deserved their punishment. Associating people with Nazi symbols who have never shown any sympathy towards Nazism is diffamation and not fun. Sensible people will understand that.

Not this crap again.....

White-Blue enough already! I thought we had this out long ago? If you don't like it, move on.

Now can we get this thread back to humor?

So when will we do our shootout with F1, Moto GP bikes and WRC cars, Fernando?
