Perhaps it is the time to do this now.
Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best .............................. organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)

In an F1 race?

Btw, he was aged 52 when F1 started.
Small point of order. It can be asserted that Enzo was 48 when Formula One commenced. That said, there is some debate on this point. The CSI (Commission Sportive Internationale) first laid out the premier formula - 4.5 litres unsupercharged or 1.5 litres supercharged - in 1946. At that time it was described as Formula A. It was not long before the motoring press across Europe began to refer to it as Formula One and long before the CSI World Drivers' Championship started in 1950, the category was universally known as Formula One.

What we can say with certainty is that when the first Formula One World Drivers' Championship race started in 1950, Enzo was 52.

A good point.

Aldo Gordini (son of Amédée), drove a Simca-Gordini T11 in the 1951 French GP entered by Equipe Gordini. He qualified 17th out of 23 and retired with valve gear trouble.

Over to whomever is quickest on the draw!

Can you be a tad more specific Gary, who and which year and perhaps in what car?

His real name was actually Gianclaudio Giuseppe Regazzoni, but ok.

Your go Gary, but this better be good, stick to F1 and no obscure pre-war Czech contraption!

Right, got that sorted.

The picture below is of a former Formula One driver who drove for a major team. His name is .......

I think that is Giovanni Giuseppe Gilberto Galli, nicknamed Nanni. Competed in 1 race for Ferrari - 1972 French GP finishing 13th.
