Is there a wobbling DRS-flap on Max' car?
I noticed that aswell, at first I thought it was the lighting playing tricks. But other angles show it aswell, DRS flap is definitely oscillating

The good thing is that all the teams are up and running already...that's different from previous years! Everyone will reach a race distance (around 60 laps) by midday for sure i think...that's a good sign for F1 itself!

Even Williams is running ok...that's really good for them in comparison to last year where they were nowhere this time of the year!

Mclaren is looking quite good even on Hard tires...interesting! Ferrari looks a bit slow compared to this time last year...but we all know what happened in the season! So no need to panic Tifosis!!

Oh and Williams goes 0.8 from the top using Medium tires now...that looks reeeeeally good for them! =D> =D> =D>

Any observations of the cars behaviour on track as yet? I’ve only seen it commented that Verstappen is consistent and Bottas is great in S3

This sounds as a repetition of last year. #-o

Of course you can. If in day 1 of testing a car is already faster than in their party mode in qualifying last year, you can tell for sure that they've improved massively.
It's not a surprise Racing Point W10 is much faster than Racing Point RP19, but it's nice to see the Williams being significantly faster (6 tenths) than it's predecessor in qualifying last year.
Not if conditions are much faster than they were in qualifying last season.
Which they aren't as an F1 car is optimized to work better in warmer conditions.
That just isn't always the case.

We knew teams would try and get around that screen ban somehow.

Ferrari really likes to pee on the spirit of the rules.

They could have at least done a human pyramid to entertain us.

Replacing the partition screens with some stacks of tyres and a bunch of mechanics is such a ferrari thing to do ....
