An excellent podium indeed!

I'll pose another head scratcher later. In the meantime, if anyone wants to have a go that's fine by me.
The entire podium was occupied by a ferrari? Which one? Enzo....

You sob's, I get tied up for an hour of R&R and you run away with giveaways?

An all Ferrari podium , must have been in the 50s anyways, why I'm lost, WB?

in which zgred is referring to the 1959 German Grand Prix at Avus.

Okay here's one. Here's a list of 16 words. They logically fit together in 8 pairs. For example, two words like Cheshunt and Hethel would go together because they were two places where Lotus was located over the years. Or Rees and Coaker, two of the March founders. And so on.

So here's the list for you to pair up.

Alta
Andretti
Brise
Bugatti
Colotti
Cooper
Elstree
Francis
Honda
Hunt
Maddocks
McAlpine
Montona
Poland
Raikkonen
Russia

Gary this is a killer one, have no clue how to solve it. Only thing I was able to connect is:

Alta – MacAlpine
Andretti – Montona
Brise – Elstree
Colotti – Francis
Cooper – Maddock
Raikkonen - Hunt
Poland - Russia

have no idea what can connect:
Honda and Bugatti
,so I suspect You have other pattern.

Fantastic!

For everyone's benefit:

Ken McAlpine owned Connaught and his cars ran Alta engines.
Mario was born in Montona.
Elstree Airport was where Graham Hill was trying to land before crashing with Tony Brise amongst his passengers.
Alf Francis and Valerio Colotti (as in Colotti gearboxes) were business partners.
Owen Maddocks was for several years Cooper's designer.
Kimi once entered a snowmobile race under the name James Hunt.
Poland and Russia are two countries who have only had one of their nationality entered in a Championship Grand Prix - Kubica and Petrov.

Honda and Bugatti... think engines and unconventionality.

Here's another stinker, and know for the question:

Only two drivers have won a race by a margin of 2 laps.

Who are they and in what years and races did they manage this?

This is without googling. Let's see... Damon Hill and the 1995 Aus GP and Jackie Stewart in the 1968 German GP. Or maybe Jackie didn't really lap anybody that day.
I am not amazed by F1 cars in Monaco. I want to see them driving in the A8 highway: Variable radius corners, negative banking, and extreme narrowings that Tilke has never dreamed off. Oh, yes, and "beautiful" weather tops it all.

Almost Miguel: Damon Hill and the 1995 Aus GP is correct but the other one is 1969 Spanish Grand Prix Jackie Stewart. This was googled - I was sure that one belongs to Hill but I was thinking about 96 and Williams dominance so I didn't found it :]
