It's under waved yellows so was the Red Bulls job to avoid Alonso rejoining the track.
That is a very questionable interpretation of the yellow flag. As much as drivers have to use caution in yellow flagged zones the driver who rejoins the track has to observe the traffic.

Q2 throws up a surprise and Q3 is going to be very close.

McLaren did it again. How many times can you repeat the same mistake ? Wow... I'm really impressed by their idiocy. Ok, the car wasn't nearly as fast as the bulls or the Scuderia today, but sent at the right time Hamilton could've been at least di Resta, Maldonado and Button ???

Shame about RBR being "disadvantaged" at Silverstone. Surely they should have taken the first FOUR positions instead of just two.

Looks like Alonso could be the only hope for an actual race rather than a red cow procession. Maybe rain will help.

Good to see a political screaming match that does NOT center on Ferrari. Just what DO Ferrari have to do to their engine? Anyone know?

Well no they weren't the were right to be upset by regulation changes as it has clearly hit their performance. But they weren't threatening to protest, Red Bull were, yet they clearly are still in front.
