I'll sound old, but I remember that finishers giving lifts to DNF's was pretty common back in the 80's-90's - until it was outlawed.

I can still remember Alesi's win in 95. Pity he only ever got one win as he was a fantastic driver. If only he'd gone to Williams when they asked him in the early 90's, but instead he chose Ferrari. I remember the team were telling him to slow down as he kept getting faster and faster. :lol:

In 1983, Robin Herd helped design an F1 car for which team?
