@Tufty: Your response is well written, I think. Jill Singer would have done better to think about this subject a little more before writing his paper...

Saying fans are just watching races to see someone dying is almost like saying fans are just watching boxe to see a fighter die on a bad knock... Totally stupid.

That's right, other than "freak" accidents which can occur at any time, the possibility of any heavy object,ie something heavier than the spring that hit Massa, (another car, a wheel, an animal, crash barrier) entering the cockpit and striking the driver, brings the biggest danger of a fatality.

Shes a attention seeking moron who wrote a completely daft insensetive article on a topic she doesnt understand to get herself a bit of publicity. She is the lowest form of a jounralist, if you could call her that.

I was tempted to post that article last week, but figured thats just what she'd want, so I did what I urge you all to do, ignore it.
