On reflection, it really has to be a pic of the number 3 on Button's car next year.

In the meantime, this one will do

I know I'm gonna be stoned for this, but i'll say it anyway.

Button stealing 25 points from Lewis right there. Bitter Hamilton fan ? You bet.

Next time Lewis gets the chance to go wheel to wheel with Button, he'd better have no mercy on him. He'd go down in my estimation.

Where have you been? They have been wheel to wheel several times since. Mercy was shown every time.

Waiting for the time where Hamilton rams Button into a wall or something. They'll probably ban him for a race or two though, that might be why he hasn't done it.

I doubt it, after he was metrosexualized by Nicole he has never been the same. Once he went hollywood he never came back (i.e. earings and all).

I just hope that he takes it to Vettel because I'm tired of that RB getting pole after pole.

Without that tyre falling off & that mechnical failure with 12-15 points each on those 2 races atleast Button would have finished atleast 50 points ahead of Hamilton this season(my 2 cents).

Anyway button has more points. But it doesn't really phase any Hamilton fan.
Hamilton didn't lose on inferior talent or pace.
He lost thanks to back luck and mistakes. Such is life.

I know Button fans would have loved for Button to actually have been the quicker of the 2. But Button hasn't raced Hamilton for a win this year or good finishes.
He succeeds when Hamilton has a messed up weekend.

So i don't really feel any loss of such. Just realized Hamilton took too long to realize that with DRS and KERS, you don't fight, you let things happen.
Fighting for position and driving hard doesn't bring good results like it did a year a go.
So in that respect he was too naive.
The other thing is i realize he is very soft. Alonso is cold blooded animal, which is what Hamilton should aim to be. He let the media get to him, and also the stewards get to him.

So i will change avatar but i, like most fans, aren't shocked or anything. We saw the season and we saw all the opportunities that were dashed away.

I still don't think Hamilton can be beaten head to head. Or he will reach a point where he accepts that his teammate is faster than him.
This season was a mess, and even Massa could have got more points than Hamilton.

Still the fastest driver in F1, and still has the mentality that only wins matter.
That was a weakness as well, as the focus was Vettel and Vettel alone.
All or nothing i guess.
Explain Japan please. What mistake did Lewis make?

Is there any rule for the new ringo avatar? Like related to Button or a team/driver he don't like?

On another forum who I am, some members made a bet one time: looser had a Care Bears avatar.

If it is allowed I think this one could be great

I have nothing against Button at all. He was just doing his job parallel to Hamilton's.
Hamilton didn't lose out on points because Button intersected his path to race wins, or because Button was outpacing him.
Hamilton lost because of himself, penalties and the guy in the avatar.

Nahh, button isn't worthy of being my avatar. He's not a bad guy. He's sneaky but he isn't really a nemesis.
What happened this year was that Hamilton treated button like a small fry that wouldn't be a factor to his championship.
He kept his eyes on Vettel, while Button trained his eyes on Hamilton.
Hamilton didn't value's Button's challenge as much as he valued Vettel's and that's where Button crept by on points. You can say that was a mistake.

He should consider all drivers challengers regardless of how much slower they are or how nice they are. He was disarmed by Button's apparent innocuousness, treating Jenson like a little scratch, that can be looked at later after attending to bigger issues, but that scratch soon turned to a full blown infection.
By the time Lewis took his eyes off Vettel, Button was ahead, learning the easiest way to make podium finishes.

This year Button understood the rules better, and understood that if your car is second fastest chances are it will finish second third or fourth if the strategy is executed properly. Overtaking isn't even necessary, neither is dicing for position.
It was this bit of wisdom that Hamilton lacked.
Lewis didn't adjust his thinking. You could say he was arrogant and didn't adapt.

He had to pace to stay on the podium every race the car didn't have problems, but simply failed to avoid unlucky situations. The collision at spa to me was his most unlucky of the year.
The team putting him on the supersoft tyre in Hungary was also unlucky. A win was in the bag if he went onto the prime.
So this season was really a mix bag of loss of focus, bad luck, and plain failure to exercise wisdom.

Saying all this, i hope next year he gets more open mined. Maybe he should run some triathlons, that teaches most of Buttons little waiting game skills.
For Sure!!

The tyres were clearly affected by the setup. The setup he got from the simulator work was too stiff.
He was losing almost 2 seconds a lap to vettel.

What do you think it was?

one of my favorite Hammy moments. This was where he was showing his excellent skills on the brakes trying to out brake Kimi out of the pits. Kimi just got star struck and didn't know he was supposed to move out of the way when being approached by Hamilton.

I think it has to be one of these two
