I think it'll be interesting to see how quickly Kimi adapts to the new car/tyres in comparison to how long it took Schumacher, although I guess it'd be hard to benchmark?
I think Raikkonen will fare better in adapting because he's younger and has been in relatively recent F1 cars. And during his years out he actually raced and didn't take it easy. We'll see though, anything could happen.
Kimi has always struck me as an intelligent driver (at least in the car) and I think he will adapt to the engineering challenges of the car quickly. I guess his absolute pace might be a little rusty and he will be lacking the tactical expertise of the other drivers in the field regarding tyre management, but again, I think he will get on top of this quickly.
My biggest concern would be the pace of the car, which where Lotus have been lacking of late.

I don't think he'll struggle as much as Schumacher. The 2012 cars will probably be a lot more similar to the 2009 cars; than the 2010 cars were to the 2006 cars.
