As always, time will tell ;)
Agreed. They will be the ones to challenge McLaren in Malaysia(qualifying) but Mercedes and Red Bull will be close(my guess).

Really.....? with Mercedes and there DRS system on Malaysia straight`s can only see them being quicker, also I think Rosberg should have qualified further up at Aus but he had the huge lock up that ruined his lap. lotus should be quick though, with raikonnen hopefully getting to grip`s with his power steering issue`s.

At the same time you could argue that Grosjean had never been to Albert Park plus has been out of F1 for two years and Raikkonen messed up! Who know! It'll be exciting to find out!

The DRS zone is only going to be on the pit straight, and of course it can only be used when close behind another car. It doesn't automatically impart extra speed every lap, and once they are in front it would have no impact at all.

Completely fair assessments IMO. But if you're putting down Grosjean to inexperience in Australia - I don't think he's raced in Sepang before either. Has he?

Yes, he has, he "loves" the circuit! :D

I don't know, this is what I read(Lotus F1 Team hompage):

"Well, I wish I was standing here talking to you after the podium ceremony! But it is what it is and tomorrow morning it will all be a memory. We’ll move on to Malaysia now which is one of my favourite circuits and focus on getting a result there."

Maybe he loves it without even having raced on it? Would be strange!

GP2 Asia.

About Williams, you should take some precautions before saying they have a top 5 car... Melbourne is atypical and several teams Williams included performed very well in Albert Park but were nowhere during the rest of the season...

I think we haven't seen Lotus's real pace in quali (I think RG could easily be 3 tenth faster in S1) neither in the race (KR didn't show all of E20's potential (due to the traffic, strategy, SC)...

Almost agreed... Considering Rosberg didn't perform in qualifying, I would say Mercedes is ahead of Red Bull. What happens in the race is a different matter...

You guys are being kind to Mercedes. Sure, their qualifying performance was good, but their race pace was absolutely atrocious. Worse than Ferrari's.
