i used UGNX for two weeks and boy, it is sooooo difficult to use!

i barely got a proper looking wing

I used NX many years ago and I recall there was a small learning curve, but once you're past that things go pretty smoothly. Not sure what version you're talking about, haven't used it since NX3 I think.

very nice

i would only be able to get that level of detail in sketchup

the only 2 things i know how to do in nx is extrude, and sweep along a curve...

i'm rubbish at it! :)

Just keep working at it. I remember Unigraphics used to have documentation, I think it was called CAST. Make use of it! You'll need to learn things like (I don't know if they've changed the names) Through Curves, Through Curves Mesh, Bridge Curves, etc. Later you'll possibly find it necessary to know Law Curves, or Curves by Law, don't recall the name.

(i don't have a clue what those curves are!) :)

Not yet. I think it has been printed and I'm just waiting for it to get here.

I'll start a new thread shortly for my 2014 car which is pretty much done for a first iteration.
