Me too. He's not the first to spin on cold tyres and he won't be the last.

no surprise, Takuma Sato has been named as one of the SA drivers. The other is Yuji Ide.

Although the team is coming together, I fear a farce. The likes of Sato being constantly lapped by the race leaders is a frightening possibility.

That nose is extremely high relative to the front wing. Huge gap.

I suddenly have a sick, morbid curiosity to see how their lap times will compare to the rest when racing starts. They may be in a class of their own.......

Oh dear...it looks more or less exactly like the old A23....which wasnt competative in 2002...let alone in 2006!

But that photo is from afar, so its best not to comment on it too much yet. besides after the first three fly away races they'll have a new car neways....so I will reserve most of my judgement until then.

It wasn't that bad, really. IIRC Frentzen actually managed points (top-6 finishes) in that car. Not bad when you consider Cosworth held the ECU hostage a couple of times.

But in 2006, I think they'll really make the Midland look good.

Looking at those pictures i think that car has only been modified internally as there is no way that car is legal i mean look at both the front and rear wing for a start they've got to be '02 spec.

My geuss is that is was more of an Engine and drivetrain shakedown as opposed to a 06 spec car shakedown.

.. oh and btw the TG test track is at Dunsfold http://www.dunsfoldpark.co.uk/images/dpav2.jpg
