How will the Formula One cars look likes in the electric car

All that has to do with the power train, gearbox, clutch, fuels and lubricants, etc. Generally the mechanical side of Formula One.

could be inboard for the rear wheels and outboard for the front... what if the hub MGU for the front could replace the brakes ?All depends on the regulations.

I understand the change in thinking away from ICE's, but to me and a good portion of others, I feel like it takes away from the sports purity.

I'd rather see an engine burn hydrogen for entertainment value. AFAIK, H uses a fossil fuel energy derived process to produce it in quantity at this point.

But this is a sport. I want to see ICE stay in some form. An ICE is so much more a living breathing animal then a battery/motor system. An electic motor produces it's power in a linear way. Other then traction, there is no reason to not floor it all times. I think electric systems should be treated like turbos, they are way to supplement the ICE.

I like Hockey, so a Hockey analogy. Ice is expensive to maintain. You need a extensive cooling system to maintain a sheet of ice in Florida.

Why not just lose the ice, put down some good smooth concrete, and play on Roller Blades?

Because then it wouldn't be Hockey.

the cars look like what we see now because we have engine, fuel tank & gear box on the car & we need to put it lower to make a lower CG. If it changh to electric, we only have battery in the fram(motor in hub). So we can provide more space to work for aerodynamic.

We can make the car look like a wing to creat down force, & remove the flat wing to provide the same down force with lower drag.

I would expect a driver placement more akin to a jockey or a Moto GP rider.

In wheel motors could be done, especially if the wheel/magnet integration could be paired with a remote coil setup, so the weight gets split between the center of the car and the wheels. At that point, I could also see the wheels mounted to a different suspension system. Like if you took the 2009 wings and moved them back to where the lower A arms are, and then used a pushrod/monoshock with the upper "bar" a arm being mounted to the outer carrier of the monoshock, so it would adjust the camber under roll condition.

Realistically, the roll hoop would have to be reintegrated with the change in driver location, but I feel that the talent at this level will solve that rather quickly.

And then comes the biggest thing to me, and that is an ultra-short wheelbase. I can see the electric cars getting closer to 1.6M X 2.0M aspect ratio with the decrease in weight.

If only I was better with the planar modeling part of CATIA, I would draw a picture...
