Is everything used? Including the brake discs?

BTW, hilarious posts so far.

Where's an engine at, I'm sure I'll find room in my Nissan Bluebird...

Nope this seems like a reasnoble price, I'd venture that some of the bits are even a bit pricey, it's not a ferrari after all. You've got to remember these parts are either obsolete or otherwise useless to the team, they may have exeeded their lifing etc. They are going to have practically zero value otherwise. Isn't recycling carbon fibre about as beneficial as pissing into the wind?

I was at a show a while back, think it was a historic motorsport thingy and I think it was in Warwick and there was a very low key stand with 1 guy serving, defiantly not the kind with a flashy website or shop frontage in London, he had loads of wings and wheels for very modest sums, and of course some were very expensive. I Picked up a tidy Williams barge board in red with the black and yellow Winfield kangaroo for £30; I know it's old hat now and the car wasn't exactly a pacesetter but neither is a Toyota!

If anyone is seriously thinking of buying something like this though it is wise to casually suggest the idea to any women in the household and gauge their reaction, surprisingly I have found that they are not always as exited at having a reasonably sized, very strikingly designed, and usually garishly decorated piece of an F1 car prominently displayed in the house as we are. :o [-X #-o [-o< :(

So... are you saying that USF1 cars won't be very reliable, now? #-o

Upon seeing this thread I must do the obligatory 'Post a link to my article on the matter' (Scroll down for F1 parts):

Yes, it is possible to pick up parts a fair bit cheaper from eBay, here's my latest search string for eBay UK:

It does currently miss exhaust manifolds and a couple other things thanks to the search character limit.
