Looks like it'll be hot for the weekend :D I hope it is as I'm sitting on the uncovered part of the pit straight

I hope barri can win it because ratboy is already miles ahead in the championship table.

When did Jenson get the nickmame Ratboy?

I don't think Schumi even got one THAT bad, and he was deserving once or twice :)
The man DOES need a shave. Hasn't anyone from Brawn asked Jenson for the 1/16th kilo of facial hair weight back?

Something tells me however, that Jenson would call it his superstition!

Looks like it will be the last race at Silverstone for the foreseeable future, and who knows if Donnington will find the 100 million they are short to be ready for 2010?

I guess it is possible there will be no British GP next year for more than one reason.

What a great place to announce that FOTA are going to start a rival with a race at Silverstone in 2010. The fans would love it. Everyone wants to see Max and Bernie get stuffed. I suspect this is why the teams were so agreeable to extending things until the 19th.

At Silverstone, the average turn angle is 1080 - 20 less than the average for the Championship.
1080 = 10,8°?

Im gonna throw a curveball into the situation for this race. Just downloaded the official EPK PDF for the race and McLarens car is listed as the MP4/23 and not the MP4/24. Have they gone back to last years chassis, without all the flip-ups and do-das on it???

EPK Can be found here (Need adobe to view it):

Results for me (top 8):

1 - Webber
2 - Trulli
3 - Button
4 - Rubens
5 - Vettel
6 - Kimi
7 - Massa
8 - Rosberg

First retiree - Bourdais as he just cant get his STR4-01 to work like his 908-07 car that came second at Le Mans.

Hamilton will finish 9th, but a wring its neck and were still .1 of a second slower than the guy in 8th sort of thing.

Nakajimma will have a great quali, but bin it first lap in a do-or-die move that could have been done in a cool head a lap later or via strategy.
