For those of you in Germany- in fact, anywhere near a British Military base (like Cyprus, Gibraltar, (somewhere in) Canada, Falklands, etc.

If you're anywhere near a British army base, you can pick up BFBS, which is British Forces Broadcasting Service (not sure of any of the frequencies), and they broadcast the Radio 5 Live feed for the GPs. But you may have to put up with the interjections of Premier League Football from time to time. As you say though, it is worth it, because Croft and Davidson are brilliant.

Here's the link to their website. Try it, it may work for you...

The 5 live feed carries the audio that goes with the TV feed (so all the wooshy engines as cars go by, pit radios when the graphics come up etc) most of the time, with commentators talking on top. Of course the background noise goes when they have pitwall interviews etc, but it works perfectly with the TV coverage for the most part. In the UK we are lucky enough to have it given as an alternative audio on the red button, so it comes in perfect time with the TV pictures.

The other alternative audio is the CBBC kids commentary- very funny to listen to the presenter trying to describe the race without repeatedly descending into technobabble, and then trying to translate everybody else's technobabble. I wonder if anybody seriously listens to it... better than 'On a charge' Legard.
