Hamiltons time was on softs or mediums?

And Bottas did an entire 25 lap stint on softs?
Dont get this also is there anywhere to see which set of tyres they are using?
As i see on the f1 site ferrari used 7 sets of mediums so far

They hand back the first set of tyres after 40 minutes of the session and I'm sure that Bottas' second stint - after the lull - was on mediums just like Hamilton so that tweet is wrong.
Every team only uses 2 sets of tyres in FP1. The various stints are as a result of passing through the pitlane for various setup changes they do in a practise session.

The F1 tyre graphics on some cars arent correct. Embarassing stuff from F1. Norris could not have used just one set for entire FP1, they are supposed to give back a tyre set after 40 mins.

It can't be really 8 sets, most probably when you pit for refuel or some aero tweaks and you go out again, it counts as a separate(but used) in the f1 app

The app doesn't even show new/used anymore does it? last time I looked at it, it was just showing compound.

He did a pretty good lap on the hards then !

Claire btw if you are reading this dont put some rookie in the car while your car is crap and you have a massive development problem

"....

Well I think the guy in twitter does indeed mean circle and is referring to the that tv graphic FOM shows in tv coverage. Usually when there's some failure of a component or before the start of a race or any time they show a graphic of 5 or so circles each within the other inwards to outwards (must be like 3 this season?) that represents the components used. When you change a component you get to the next circle and it flashes red when the driver reaches the maximum number of components used.
Cycle is a straight translation of the spanish word ciclo. Circle is circunferencia .

I’ve never seen the graphic you mention.
I will try to share it if I can find it somewhere.

The timing screen gone wrong too?

Verstappen showing in 3rd, 7 tenths off Hamilton but both ferraris show as only 6 tenths off?

Chris Harris?
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Looks like a gearbox change for Hamilton - and floor damage.

That's likely the end of his FP2. Could ruin his chance to get the car setup right. Ferraris looking fast now.

So far they only have one but I don't think it was damaged.

Edit: They could take a new one without a penalty

The Sky crew just said it wasn't the race gear box.

He will just copy what Bottas does today and then tweak it during FP3.
