I might not be the first to think this, but how interesting would it be to run this second race anti-clockwise? Same with Silverstone (or they could use ‘new’ Silverstone and the ‘old’ classic track for the second race.

I thought it was too problematic to go reverse direction with recalibrating everything to do with timings and pit lane/lights, gaps in the fence etc?

But it's a nice idea and offers some good variety.

Watching F3 qualli on Sky. I have not followed it at all, but looking at the names like Fitipaldi, Nannin, Schumacher, Lawson, Doohan, Peroni, etc, it looks like a son of motorsport.
Are that all the real thing or just the same names?

Nannini is a nephew, Lawson no relation, Doohan is son, Schumacher is Ralfs son, Fitipaldi is grand son, Peroni is no relation I believe.

I could be wrong though, I'm sure google can answer.

I believe the only one they are considering would be Bahrain and having the "oval" style track as the second race over the traditional GP circuit, think they are also considering running the races at different times i.e. day vs night to really offset the two races and give the teams something else to think on.

Run off areas aren't designed for it. Pit entrances and exits might be problematic too.

No way any circuits run backwards, far too dangerous, Just think about the gaps in the barriers. They overlap in a way you cant get in there in a forward direction. If the cars were going the other way, they would be like barrier scoops collection cars running off at high speed. Plus gravel traps and run offs are not set right for opposite direction racing.

Is BOT first on track again between the Merc drivers or is it HAM?
Assuming you mean first on track for Q3? Bottas was first last time so they will probably switch it for this race as they have done each year.
Yes, that’s what I mean...the run order. Cheers

A gravel trap where Ricciardo went off, looked a bit pointless...

Yeah, same time for Perez than what he did in Q3 last weekend.
