Perhaps parting the red sea would be a relevant comparison?

The Red Sea is a bit of a journey. I could try the North Sea?

In 1971 there were two regular Swedish F1 drivers, Ronnie Peterson and Reine Wisell.

For the 1972 season, they were looking ahead att driving the March 721X and BRM P180 respectively,
what did these cars have/have not in common?

They both collided with each on lap 1 at Jarama and Marcor?

I'll do some digging for a more serious answer.

Both had the gearbox in front of the rear axle rather than behind it. Just clutching at straws now.

Coulthard lifted the throttle on the racing line while being lapped by Schumacher at Spa 1998, which caused Schumi to lose the race. Was that what was on your mind?
Correct dumrick! DC thought this was entirely correct at the time when it happened in 1998 as it greatly benefitted his team and team mate. Schumacher lost a race win which he had been in totally dominant position to take. After DC changed team to Red Bull he also changed his mind about the 1998 accident and said that he would not do it again that way.

You are right that it is much nicer to get confirmation but some issues are so clear cut that the history pages can confirm it for you. There was very little doubt at all that Al Pease was meant. He was the only person who qualified.

You do not seem to follow your own advise here. I had not confirmed the answer when you proposed that someone else should post a question and I wasn't even 24 h away. Some animals are always more equal, it appears.
