Danny seems to be struggling today and Lando is flying so far. Danny will need another lap and hopefully a better one or else he might be out of Q3 and that can't be much acceptable as the car is fast enough today to get a good place.

It's possible Ricciardo went out on "semi used" set.

Good job Norris. It might force Medium runners go Soft.

OK, so Daniel was on old tyres... relief!
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

"Both cars back in the garage, preparing for the next run. Daniel's side of the garage is very happy with his time on the old tyres, he's only a tenth off several cars that ran a new Soft."

Yep, Ricciardo went out on the set he used on his aborted run (I am assuming).

Norris went faster on soft than Perez.

I see. So he used the used softs. I'm expecting a good lap time then in this try from Daniel.

Fair, but he'll have to nail his last lap to get through now.

4 tenths from 1st to 10th. Incredible!! Danny safely through, and Sainz knocked out.

I don't think Ricciardo might have used his tyres a lot. I think he abandoned his run quickly. On another note I notice that Norris was the fastest in Sector 1, second fastest in Sector 2 but loses again on Sector 3 a lot.
He had a wobbly in sector 3 and probably lost a tenth.

First target completed. Daniel now has to be closer to at least a tenth in order to be close to Norris cause even though he did better I must say that 3 tenths is still much.

Good job team. Good call on keeping Norris in.

Two new sets of softs in Q3 for Norris.
Ricciardo has only a single set.

Its a crazy session though, especially if Lando can challenge Perez.
