And hopefully Ferrari signs him, he won´t win any titles at Renault i think.
Alonso i don´t think would have any problems at all seeing as they are friends outside of the racing.

A huge accident for Nico Rosberg at the chicane. The Mercedes is damaged badly.

Rosberg climbs out of the crumpled mess on the run towards the Tabac corner. He appears to be okay.

Yes ... replays confirm that he lost control under braking for the chicane, on the bumps that caught out Liuzzi on Thursday.

The Mercedes shot right into the barrier, then bounced at high speed over the yellow and black speed humps.

Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Dunno what the commentators are on about – lots of smoke coming out of it out of the tunnel – my bet is gear box/dif failure – looked like the right rear was locked and the left rear driving at full throttle to push him into the barrier.

Liuzzi big accident at 1st corner. He's apparently OK.

EDIT : It was not so bad in replay. The car looked quite bad.

Rosberg fail :-( This car will not particiapate in Qualy. Is this a new trend in Monaco having at least one of the top drivers have to start from the back? I look forward to him showing a bit of a fight into the points ...a p8 finish is still possible. It still could develop into a very good weekend for the Silverarrows ..I hope for P5 for Michael .(Hamilton,Alonso,Vettel,Button in front of him).
So Ferrari ,Mclaren seem to have the upper hand Schumacher and The Bulls fighting for P5 and the rest without a chance.....Renault is so disappointing they seem to crack under the pressure theyx put on themselves..claiming to be favorites and coming out 16/17 in FP3 3 seconds of the pace is hardly encouraging....

Monaco is a place where you can´t afford to make mistakes at all.

Damn Alonso looks very fast indeed, Vettel does to which was surprising.
Webber.. Has he lost it now?
Feels like the mental battle is lost now and it shows in his driving.

Hamilton complained some about the car but no doubt he will be in the Top 3 positions.

I think it ´s between the Top Trio, Vettel, Alonso & Hamilton.

You will not see Alonso doing this again and I´m a bit surprised with Rosberg not taking in the lesson learned from last year..you don´t have to commit all mistakes yourself to learn...but of course the track /car situation seems borderline at the tunnel exit ,god knows what had happened when DRS was allowed.

HRT the whole weekend outside 107% now...they really have to pray the front runners don´t use supersoft in Q1...

How come? I think Rosberg´s mistake was just the rear tires lifting from the ground.
So with 90 some kilos of force on the front wheels will make the car sideways.

Raikkonen has also made a mistake there, pretty much everyone has done mistakes at Monaco, it´s part of the game and some things you can´t learn before or prepare yourself for. Not all is driver errors aswell.

the tyre pressures were low according to information through pit radio to MS ..so it was really too much too early...

And liuzzi with two crashes this weekend ...wow ..that will prove costly on a track they should have the best chance all year....Still I don´t understand why a team like HRT does not concentrate ALL effort on this race and treats the year as a big test.
