Renault Sport F1 R.S.17

Where did he say that? Source?

Certainly he said no such thing on Motorsport.com
“We think that between 0.3 – 0.4 seconds is what we want to achieve over the course of the season with in-season development,” he said.

“But all of that will only be possible if we have the reliability, because if we don’t have reliability it really screws your engine introduction plan. Then what you were supposed to bring for engine number two or engine number three will not be available because you have to fix your reliability issue.”

Sorry, it was Cyril Abiteboul in one of the interviews where he is talking about the "arms race" of development.

He claims new package for first test, then another package at Melbourne.

That's pretty innovative. I heard the bananas that Castrol supplies them have more calories per weight than other suppliers.

I'll expect Ferrari are in the process of gaining 'clarification' from the FIA on this moveable aero device...haha

Has to be non-alcoholic; phase change coolers not permitted. Unless made from grapes permitted under the concord agreement.

Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

I guess he is referencing an incident from Friday practice in Malaysia last year where fuel was spraying out of the car from the top of the roll hoop and catching fire while in pitlane

Ah, so we have a specific topic for that ? I'm off to rant over there !
Education is that which allows a nation free, independent, reputable life, and function as a high society; or it condemns it to captivity and poverty.

Seems that R.S. 17 wheel base is one of the shortest. And also very clever design, unique, combinatiom of some that we saw on other cars.

Yep, and we should keep in minds that they've done this when Enstone was not in a very good position... in terms of infrascture/workforce and stuff... so the result is a bit more than pretty decent =D>

And i'm really excited to see what they will bring during the test period and at the first GP of the season (considering what abiteboule was saying previously).
