Aston Martin sticks with their policy of
introducing updates on one car only , gather data over a full weekend or more to be able to compare performance .
Interestingly they give the new bits always to Stroll.Is this to minimise risk
for the better scorer ,is it just because its Stroll ? I'm pretty sure Seb is better skilled to evaluate new parts.
So only Lance had these upgrades in Styria/Austria .

To me it made sense that they gave updates to Stroll. This year's car is an evolution, and Stroll should know the car better. Not sure how big their budget is, it could be expensive to manufacture same parts all at once.
Also, it could be good for Vettel to run the same configuration for a while.

choice of first to try aside , I think campaigning two development steps may be a capacity problem but could turn out as an asset as you haveywo configurations on track under similar conditions , and known quantities (drivers) in terms of variables so this is a
very efficient way to assess new bits and upgrades ,if your baseline driver is not
paranoid...
