How Alonso was slower in SQ3 on softs? In SQ2 he did 27.766 in SQ3 27.790

It doesn't make sense....In the shade as the came out of the garage and made it's way, I couldn't tell untill Alo got out into the sun, there it looked like the Softs were used.

Yep, tyres looked liked the used ones from FP1. AMR usually don’t care too much of the sprint.

As in previous Q‘s, with new tyres they are absolutely in the mix, because problems are masked with new rubber, the field is very tight, HUL P11. STR 2-3 tenths slower than ALO as usual, that will kill him this year.

De La Rosa was interviewed in Austrian TV before SQ. His usual talk, but admitted that the car is weak in traction and has a bad rear end, so they are going to struggle in the race.

Max and Alonso traded tows in sector 2, Max gifted Alonso a slipstream in SQ2.

I wouldn't count on it. Alonso probably picked up 4 or 5 tenths on that straight with that massive tow.

Until the turn 7 Alonso was neck a neck with Hamilton, Alonso was 'only' 0.25s behind Hamilton when approaching turn 11. Later he lost another 0.5s mostly due to the old tyres. I do not count on it but I still believe that there is a chance for Q3.

5 tenths with such a tow? I think you overestimate that quite a bit…

Max let Alo pass after turn 11, the path from turn 07 to 11 is very important, so he definitely gained a lot.

Another great race ruined by the incompotence of Aston and the craziness of a fellow driver.
Yet again, Stroll will get all the praise...
