If its worth bringing early, possibly with some risk, for a non-engine dependant track like Monaco.....
Shame there wont be a direct comparison in Canada between two team mates so it can be quantified.
You mean the joke that Mercedes cracked.carisi2k wrote: Let's not forget about the issues both Rosberg and Hamilton had in Russia during the race.
How much is a bomb? Estimations - 0,45s and 0,2-3 in Monaco. Half a bomb for them anyway. Imagine Ferrari giving one of the two engines to RB, same for McL, RB reversed or Mercedes. The latter didn't bother giving Williams new engine for half a season, nevermind at the first race it was available and at their own cost. I'd like to know who really made this decision.FrukostScones wrote:According to Permane th enew Renault engine is a bomb.AMUS

- forget about tyre strategies, even FI is good on tyres
- How did Magnussen do that? This embraces Schumacher's legacy.
- Can't they put a tyre symbol next to best times (TV) or is it beyond capabilities of multi-billion corporation?
Was never going to be the case.oT v1 wrote:Shame there wont be a direct comparison in Canada between two team mates so it can be quantified.
I just meant 'in the interest of science', we will obviously be able to see a gap close/open to other teams, but not a true comparison between the two engines specifically.Juzh wrote:Was never going to be the case.oT v1 wrote:Shame there wont be a direct comparison in Canada between two team mates so it can be quantified.

Back to Monaco!!What's going on today at the track? Are there any lower formula races still going ahead or is this an official 'let the rich people have a play around' day?
iotar is infamous for not making any sense and wearing industrial strength tin-foil hats, best ignore him tbh.Vasconia wrote:
