Pole sitter Lando Norris has taken the victory at this year's Monaco Grand Prix. Although Leclerc and Piastri finished closely behind the race, including two stops was perfectly under Norris' control from start to finish, leading to his first win at the principality.
Verstappen exited the pits just 2 seconds ahead. Gap is 16 seconds. Hamilton's tires are similar age to NOR/LEC/PIA.
Hamilton has had free air for a while. He's lapping half a second or more slower than those ahead. They lost the pit stop window of Norris. This wasn't traffic.
Williams is pulling this strategy and it looks to be working perfectly. I'm thinking now Ferrari are going to wait and see if Hamilton can luck into a safety car due to him have a huge gap to hadjar
