Hahahaha. Lando is so lucky with these Miami safety cars. Still he did battle for that place when he reduced 3 seconds distance from Oscar to only 4 tenths so in my opinion he is worthy of 1st.
Feel like it goes to show that Lando still has a race pace and tyre deg advantage over Oscar.

That is true. While the safety car was lucky everyone has to agree that Lando worked his ass off for that first place.

Lando was likely taking Oscar out there.

Considering Oscar had to cut the chicane to keep him behind, I'd say so, yeah.

Without SC he would have been 3 or 4 seconds behind Oscar due to the tyre delta. Not sure what would have happened on Fresh softs, but I don't think Lando would have had the same speed advantage though.

Definately did much better with his tyres though.

I guess, if they didn't stop, he was overtaking. I badly worded it.

Still unsure how Max didn't get a penalty for the start.

He was touching it, just.

Yeah if they weren't stopping Lando had it but it was always going to be a stop.

Nice 1 2 for the team.

Hopefully the team can find more time to give to the car as the others will surely try to find more time.

Great result. I was curious and I checked the F1TV replay. From what I can tell, Norris was not under risk of losing P2 to Hamilton even without the safety car. When he went to pits he was 25 seconds ahead of Hamilton and that would have been enough to keep P2. Pit loss was about 20-21 seconds.

McLaren could have double stacked them, the gap was there but it seems that difference in speed between compounds was not that huge to have to do it.

Overall, great pace and result. I really like starts Piastri is able to do.
