I doubt anyone will be able to derail Vettel from winning again. And Hamilton getting a 3rd place from 7th on the grid ? Get real...

Bear in mind that he's sat behind one ferrari that's been no where near his pace, one merc that's been no where near his pace, and an RBR that's got terrible race pace. The only real fly in the ointment from where he's sitting is Alonso.

The guys in front of him (Massa,Alonso and Weber) always give trouble to Lewis when he's faster than them and tries to overtake. Especially Massa the master rear gunner won't blink in squeezing Hamilton first chance he gets. Just look at Bahrain and Monza last season...

Remember Hamilton still has better tyres left over than any of them.

In fact his run in q3 didn't even hurt the tyres much as they were too cold.

He can win the race in the pits and with a safety car to keep vettel close.

Hamilton -realistically- can make up 3 places during the pitstops but that's it. Vettel will be long gone. Button's a no match for him. Safety car as you say looks as the only possibility for a shake up. But if it's gonna go wrong for someone, it surely won't be Vettel and I'll bet my house on it.

This guy is very savvy with what's available to him in the car.

He's going to pull it out of the bag some way i hope.

Keep in min the tyre advantage he has and how important fresher tyres are here.

If he doesn't the race will be boring. Let's face it, Button is no match for Vettel and Webber is driving with a chip on his shoulder so he's not focused.
Vettel loses only if Hamilton beats him.

I had a 10.00 pre weekend bet running for Hamilton on pole . Daaaamn
Vettel's lap was really quick in Q3 but I still thought my bet had value until the red flag.
I think resetting the timer to 5min after an incident in Q3 would be a good idea, to avoid people being robbed of their chances.
The downside is that some shaking up of the grid is good for the race and luck should be equally distributed amoung the drivers thinking longterm.

Well, have we actually seen what he could do in Q3? no. The crash of Perez came out very unlucky for Hamilton(and Perez of course), he seriosuly could challenge Vettel for pole position.

Apart from that, he bought on the fight in the last few races, where it all counts, that is in a car that is what, like a second slower then hte Red Bull, he really must be driving his ass off.

It was like overtaking an STR. Tomorrow, Lewis will have 6 competitive cars in front of him. I honestly can't think of a way for him to get to the top. Let's hope he proves me wrong
