They raced in worse conditions literally the previous race.mzso wrote: ↑27 Jul 2025, 16:02So another chapter of this patheticness. Among all those billions of dollars apparently there aren't a couple ten thousand to equip cars with see in rain/fog cameras (short-wave infrared cameras).
Not that it's strictly necessary. They happily raced in worse circumstances that Belgium 2021 in the 2000s, without issues. Drivers drove with a degree of caution.
The worst thingis there's no more excitement about getting an surprising result like in the previous race.avantman wrote: ↑27 Jul 2025, 16:05I agree...erudite450 wrote: ↑27 Jul 2025, 15:55When did we accept this ludicrous narrative about visibility issues in the wet? Visibility is always reduced in the wet. Now you have drivers consistently moaning at the slightest drop of rain. We are teaching the young drivers the wrong principles. This isn't F1.avantman wrote: ↑27 Jul 2025, 15:49
it's understandable to take different approach with juniors. they lack skill and experience.
these 20 though we have in f1 were supposed to be the best in the world.
and please lets not mention poor visibility again, it was always very poor and a big problem in the past in the wet, and cars were never as safe as they are now.
and now we will get a typical inter start, one dry line race after. the worst possible type of wet race, always boring, because genuine overtaking becomes impossible.
the day has been ruined before it started...
Half hour wet race is better than 1.5 hour dry race.Jambier wrote: ↑27 Jul 2025, 16:10Because 2 hours maximum so if you have 1 hour red flag you only have 1 hour racerenault rs26 wrote: ↑27 Jul 2025, 16:07Why? In the worst case it'll be equal wait, in best case there's no waiting at all if race started when it was supposed to start.
I was also like wtf?? Accelerating already at the exit of stavelot
