Sauber upgrades look very good. So I have no clue where we stand.

Alonsos racecraft is still unbelievable just praying silverstone updates help us challenge more

I love watching Alonso. After all this years it's still an Art the way he prepares for an overtake and plays with the driver ahead for multiple corners just to get past them

The car was much better after they added a ton of front wing. Wonder why They didn't do that for Quali? That's something the simulator could help with.

That Sauber looked planted compared to the Aston Martin, at least on race pace.

Finally some luck today with the SC instead of the other way around.

Alonso complained of terrible understeer on the first stint. Did he overcook the left front and ended up missing turn 5?

They talked about it ...they added .6% Front wing after the first stint and another .9 % front wing after the 2nd stint. That's huge. You don't normally change the balance by more than a couple of points during a race. So changing it by 1.5% (15 points) is massive.

It's good Aston is at least in a close fight with the middle group.
Much better than just comfortable p5 without a racing and any progress

Looking back over the race . if they would have started the race with alot more front wing, they would have faired much better. They lost about 12 seconds on turn 7 and the subsequent laps before the 1st pit stop. Wonder if that has something to do with the new regs and new front wing ? Anyways hopefully they can use that going forward. The next race, Canada, isn't front limited though. Austria maybe some what but surely Silverstone ifs front limited. Normally Silvestone would be alot cooler, bring the hards into the middle of the picture.

Felt like Alonso was losing more time in turns 13 and 14 as the car wouldn't turn and he couldn't get remotely close to anyone.
