1st question:

I'll go for Fondmetal F1 SpA and Marco Greco. His background was more in bikes than cars.

2nd question:

Tadashi Yamashina. His nickname was George so a wild guess is that Tadashi is Japanese for George.

1st question no.

bonus question : not the right reason ,sorry.

He was working in USA at athat time and George Bush just got elected for president (!)so he chose his name to make it easier for his employees to remember his name as tadashi is uncommon in the states....weird.

Next guess:

Q1 - In 1991, Leyton House became March. Giovanni Lavaggi was their test driver and was a nobleman by background. Jonathan Palmer described him as "desperately slow".

sorry andrew ,not the answer.
I give a hint .
The car did not yet display its race color on the rollout. That would make the connection obvious .

Not sure about that one  =D> I think simply the fact I am a google ninja is better justification for quiz slamming my attempt.

finally.take up the baton gridwalker!
the irish John Watson had ended his F1 career already in 1983 and only stood in for an injured lauda in 1985(Brands Hatch) but having him for the rollout of his first Formula 1 car 1990 was a nice thing from irish Eddie Jordan .
I rememember Watson doing very competitive times with the carbon black car back then.
I think after this he did switch to Eurosport commentating -was the rollout even connected to his journo job?

Which world championship race winner competed for his entire racing career using his brother's name, having stolen his brother's ID to enter his first race when under the age limit?

Please provide both the driver's original name AND his pseudonym.

*EDIT*
This is a slightly cruel question, so I will set a second question and will accept answers to either ...

Which former F1 driver has a cancer foundation named after them?

Dick Rathmann won the Indy 500 under his brother's name of Jim. He wasn't really an F1 driver but the 500 was an F1 WC race that year (1960)

Please say I'm wrong or I have to come up with a question ...

Sorry, but you are right (I never thought I'd apologise for that) ... He won a world championship race whilst using his brother's name despite never competing in F1, which is why it is a cruel question ;)

He is also the driver to have won the most championship points without ever competing in a "proper" grand prix.

Your go!

I´d like a question from Ciro Pabón, someone just sneaked in before him and dropped a new question.

Thanks. i can't remember where I saw that now. I have to admit that I had to Google whether the Indy 500 was an F1WC race that year though.

OK. I suspect this might be a bit too easy:

Which team boss decided that his drivers had such a commanding lead in a GP that he called them into the pits for a lunch break?

Oh crap. Sorry I seem to have fallen for an exaggeration. It was supposed to have happened at the 1925 Belgian GP but on further it seems that they just had a rather more leisurley pit-stop, including a galass of wine, which was then axagerated into the lunch story. Sorry everyone.

So scratch that question - something more contemporary then. What connects Adrian Sutil and double GP winner Elio de Angelis?
