It seems like a blessing in disguise, i hope he recovers, but the problem may be related to the accident 2 seasons ago, maybe the initial surgery and recover was hurried, if the problem persists, he may hang up the boots..mvfad wrote: ↑01 Jun 2025, 22:49Some time ago I posted here in this thread that something was different in the team's preparation for the races, that Drugovich was doing simulator on Fridays before serving as reserve to the races (he's never done that before). Before I thought it was something related to Newey, but now I'm thinking it was because of these pains that Stroll is feeling.![]()
So your of the opinion that whatever operation he's going to have, isn't gonna fix it?collindsilva wrote: ↑02 Jun 2025, 06:08It seems like a blessing in disguise, i hope he recovers, but the problem may be related to the accident 2 seasons ago, maybe the initial surgery and recover was hurried, if the problem persists, he may hang up the boots..mvfad wrote: ↑01 Jun 2025, 22:49Some time ago I posted here in this thread that something was different in the team's preparation for the races, that Drugovich was doing simulator on Fridays before serving as reserve to the races (he's never done that before). With all the rumours around i doubt hes coming backNikosar wrote: ↑02 Jun 2025, 08:31More articles are now spreading the information that Stroll smashed equipment and hurled insults at team personnel, fueling talk of serious internal tensions. While the team confirmed that Stroll was “visibly angry,” they denied any link between his outburst and the injury that officially ruled him out of the race.
But cloud be the reason about how he injured himself and the team could’t anticipate it.
I can tell you that this site is often not properly synced. If you check on F1TV live timing, which is the most reliable, you can see that Leclerc completed his lap when the track was around 44 degrees, while Hamilton completed it with around 41 degrees. Alonso started it at around 43 degrees and when he finished the lap the temp was around 42.5AR3-GP wrote: ↑01 Jun 2025, 02:19According to the official session report, Alonso and Leclerc did their laps in similar temperatures. The f1-insights hub also records the track temperature. The bulk of the cooling (from 48C peak down to 42C) had occurred before the runs of Leclerc and Alonso. I think the real time loss comes because they effectively had to do banker laps as their final run. I think ALO is quite fast here. AMR made a good step. I don't share the pessimism of others. ALO can score points without bad luck.

I doudt that very much. I remember seeing interviews of him as kid. He was just bursting with energy over driving. His dad at tge time was busy running Hugo Boss or something.
I think he loves driving, but he a pretty introverted guy and hates the whole media aspect of F1 - hence why he always comes across as moody/not caring in interviews.
