Great job! Let's see how the race pace is because we didn't see really much of it

PS: According to Goran Alonso should have been on pole since he has lost like 0.6 due to age =D>

I'm happy for P6, but with no new mediums tomorrow, Alonso is going to be compromised.
Hard which is actually last years medium will be a better race tyre IMO. I think Alonso will only use the medium at the end of the race and use the hard for the start. Really excellent qualifying by him
It was a great qualifying effort. Almost surreal for Alonso to outqualify Norris and LeClerc with this car compared to their beasts.

Hahahaha... Yeah, Goran will say he should have been on pole with 1s distance to the second...

Great job by Alonso considering his obvious lack of speed.
I would say prime Alonso would take pole today whit this car.

Absolutely. Hope for an equally good race pace from the car.

Podium was possible. He went wide at turn 10.

This issue is starting to progress well... Finally!!!

The medium tires seem to perform better. And there doesn't seem to be much degradation. If the temperature holds steady or drops a bit, perhaps the hard tires will be important. I don't know if from the start or at the finish. The medium tires seem to be the key for the same reason: first or last.

Do you really think he lost 0.450 in Turn 10?

Honestly? he is no fighting agaisnt Ferrari and Norris behind, the will fight for points, remember, The race pace is terrible. He will fight with Hadjar and Albon, for points, nothing more. This track is friendly for AM and make here they are 5 or 6 team. Praying for the "SIlverstone Lunch Upgrades". Guys, Alonso has a contract to 2026 and he probably prefer die instead leave and not drive a Newey's car for the first time. Hes not leaving. Maybe he will go to Alpine in 2027 if AM will be a disaster or Verstappen comes and Alpine is competitive. If AM sign to Verstappen for 2027 and Alpine will be a disaster, Alonso probably will be end his carrear after next year
