In Piastri's case he was definitely speeding according to Zak, they seen it in the data.

Set's a crazy precedent though, I doubt that's the final result.

I don't think you can appeal a week after the race so it probably stands, but it could mean teams appeal much more in the future.

What would have happened if Gasly served his penalty, how can you untangle that? For example he could have served his penalty, then race ends under a safety car and 5-10 seconds would jump him in the lead.

They’ll just appeal everything now that it can be overturned in a post race appeal. Serving a penalty during the race just sets a driver into that final position.

I was surprised by so many speed limit penalties which never happened before so it was not normal. Glad for Mclaren appealing the results. Pity that with today's technology stewarding has become worse.

On other news Mclaren seems to be performing well in Spain so far.
