I read n smikle's post, and I have to disagree from personal experiences.
What is not acceptable is to label someone based purely on their race, as Hamilton was in the example of this thread. Not in terms of some tentative link to self preservation, or pure hatred.
It happens in all societies, especially in asia. So its not an unnatural occurence, but it needs stamping out.
Education is the best way to do this, but some will not listen nor will they learn.
And this isnt a white or asian thing only, certain black areas in America and even South africa are known to be just as racist.
But the real problem lies when one is a racist and cannot admit to it.
