now that Ferrari matches their speed we will finally see what is going on with their race pace.
Ferrari have worked longa nad hard to make the softs work and tomorrow we will see how RedBull fares after lap5 ...when ferrari still has pace in them ...very interesting race tomorrow...
Ferrari have a lot of catching up to do. If we get a race result like qualifying today they would only make a very small dent into the lead of the Red Bull and McLaren drivers championship lead.
Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best ..............................organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)
REDBULL boys have not looked very convincing even running at the front with huge speed advantages.. so to even hope for them achieving podiums constantly or points when the balance tips over and Ferrari starts winning constantly is more than unlikely .Vettel is not not Button who really kept his head level and managed to get the No1 ... and we should not forget RB is not leadimng in the points...far from it.
Just to put things into perspective Alonso is almost 50 points behind the WDC leader. His odds for WDC after the last race were 13 and have improved to 6 now. But that is still more than twice the odds that Hamilton and Vettel have. Alonso has a mountain to climb and we do not even know his new race pace. The Red Bulls are still the car to beat and IMO will keep that position long enough to win the drivers championship.
