Yeah Alonso has the pace to beat him so I think P4 is realistically his best possible finish. McLaren have made a big mistake this weekend, although I have to concede that they were never likely to really shine in these conditions or on this track. At least Silverstone should really suit their car, plus they're supposed to have a really big update coming for that race. Today is damage limitation for Hamilton.

mclaren look like there on a 3 stop and there still slow as hell.

Looks like they've managed to give Hamilton Button's pace in this race 1 second a lap slower than Alonso, two seconds a lap slower than Grosjean.
