Why did Raikkonen do only 1 flying lap? was there some issue with the car?

They just posted Lewis's lap in the F1 app, and I don't see how he lost roughly .2 in the second sector!

I was going to ask the same thing. He is down on all speed traps compared to Vettel or maybe he is running higher downforce.

Only vettel got the turbo upgrade...
I pick Ricciardo as the person who underperformed...after all the bluster from him this past week...lol

I don't think, that Riccardo was really underperforming. It is a track he doesn't like and last year he was just as fast as Kvyat. And this year he beat Verstappen relatively convincingly.

Oh now its a track he doesnt like?... he sure was telling the world they were better than Ferrari and would challenge mercedes for the win in canada and the red bull fans ate it all up.
Red bull according to Ricciardo had a chunk of time on hand and bla bla bla.
Now all im hearing is excuses. Yes what you just posted is an excuse.

Relax guy, you don't get points on Saturday. Let's see what happens tomorrow. If you honestly think tomorrow's race is going to be straight forward when it's almost guaranteed to rain. Let's not forget that the Red Bull is DOMINANT in the wet. If it's a race on inters tomorrow I can easily see a Red Bull on the top step. And Vettel was freaking close, Mercedes are not a guarantee for victory tomorrow, not at all.

I don't know how you know they're best in the wet, let alone dominant.

I think it's a fair bet that with their chassis they'll be strong in the wet, but dominant?

Hamilton was catching ricciardo by small increments in Monaco whilst it was still wet, but again I don't infer that it gives us a 'wet competitive order'.

Let's see - I don't think any of us can profess to know for sure.

No, they both got the upgrade. Sebastian and Kimi each got a new a MGU-H, TC and CE for this race.

They were very close to the top of the speed trap list. Vettel 335.4 and Kimi 334.5 km/h.

Dont recall saying mercedes was a lock for anything.... hell im pretty sure there will be contact into the 1,2 and 3 complex.
I highly doubt any of the top 5 teams are setup for the wet looking at how close the times are so i dont see any red bull advantage on the wet.

Yea youre right... also saw Kimi claim his issue with the hairpin is what messed up his time. Who knows...

How can you say Ricciardo is beating Verstappen convincingly?
It is Verstappens third race with the team .... and only the first race with the same upgraded engine.

After this season is over, then you can talk about teammate "vs teammate stuff
Not after a couple of races ..

All the wet races since Austin last year, whenever the road is wet, Red Bull just leaves everyone.
