X-I seem to be able to offer only questions nobody is interested in...

what was the key moment in Montoyas decline in relationship with Mclaren - hint:
it had a knock on effect on Kimis Championship hopes.

I remember he crashed into Monteiro with only a few laps left...
So I suppose he lost the points that he should have taken from Alonso?

Ron Dennis probably called him a berk for doing it...

Montoya had just lapped Monteiro and pulled in front and then braked for the next corner and Monteiro promptly hit him up the rear spinning him - how was that JPM's fault?

=D> =D>

exactly.

Montoya had played the perfect teamplayer up till those last laps ..everything went well to keep Kimis Championship hopes alive with the Mclaren dominating the race and taking valuable points away from Alonso.

when Montoya did lap Monteiro a few laps from the end...without himself even modestly under pressure from alonso he did a really knife edge pass and slot in just in front of Monteiro and hitting the brakes early triggering Monteiro to give him a nudge destroying the rear of JPMs car...totally unnecessary and it was the start of the end for Montoya with Mclaren...

your turn !

I can recall that Montoya had a another famous event where he chopped back in from of another car and was collected..

When was this and who was the unlucky third party??

Was that the 2003 USGP when he was in the hunt for WDC, while colliding with poor Rubens in the early laps?

Always saw that judging a bit controversial.

This is the one. One of the first, best races for JPM.

I watched a fwe old races recently and realised that I missed him from F1 - he was a breath of fresh air and always up for a fight.

The answer was the Brazilian GP where he misjudged Jos the Boss and got rammed for his trouble. Should have won it.....

Your go Shelly...and the others - thanks for the reminders, I'll keep my Qs tight like a tiger next time
