I believe Hill had already won both. I'm still thinking about the second one, but is that first one right?

Nope, Hill had the 1966 Indy and was going to win Le Mans in 1972, the year after QGP, who already had both in March 1971?

A. J. Foyt, perhaps? He had won both in 1967.

That's the man, 1961, '64 and '67 Indy crowns, plus the 1967 Le Mans, although Dan Gurney did most of the driving.

Your go!

Forgive me if what I'm asking is too easy. I couldn't think of anything better :oops:

Team Penske's 1994 Indy 500 car which won that year's Indy in the hands of Al Unser, Jr. had an interesting engine. Who had manufactured the engine? What was its superiority's secret?

You're right, it was too easy, when the 3.4 liter pushrod Ilmor-engine with xtra boost is well known.

The Questor Grand Prix of 1971 could have given F1 the breakthrough into mainstream US-motorsport, they got almost everything right with the arrangements, including having James Garner as Grand Marshal, xcept what?

For inspiration, please note Reine's green helmet a minute into the first one;

The operating company had difficulty meeting its debt service obligations on the municipal bonds in the short term, primarily due to the shortfall of the hybrid Questor Grand Prix race and a downturn in California 500 attendance in year two.

1) The Questor GP 1971 had a poor attendance of 55000 compared to the inaugural race California 500 of 1970 : 178000.

2) The F-1 Race of Champions at Brands and one USAC round at Phoenix were held at the same time as the Questor GP 1971.

Right,this will be more of a technical one;

At the end of the 1972 season, one rather prominent F1 team presented a very different-looking prototype. This car never raced, but can be said to be the first F1 car built with ground-effect in mind, though its creator did not quite understand the concept.

Name of the team, car's nick-name and the name of the latter's creator?
