The erstwhile manager of Jos the Boss Verstappen appeared in the 1985 Spa race.

Who was he replacing and for which team?

When Gianclaudio Giuseppe took pole in the 1971 British GP on Silverstone, his 312 B2 sported a rather strange looking aerodynamic device, never to be seen again, what was that?

Front wing device before the front tires to reduce drag.

Out of interest, why didn't they run that in subsequent races? Was it banned or did it not work as intended?

You are absolutely right ! It was just a one off. For the rest of the saison and in 1973 before the 312 B3 the Scuderia sticks with the classical front wing design for the B2 very similar to the the first 312 B.

Well done.

The original 1973 312 B3 was actually built in two different versions, of which only one was raced, what differed those versions?

The original had mid-mounted radiators which were reverted bac to nose-mounted ones.

That's it matt, though as I recall they built two versions almost from the beginning, but when Jacky said he felt no
difference, they went with what they knew best. But overheating with the hip-mounted seems more plausible now.
