How come McLaren has a drag problem whenever it’s not a ground effect car, we had drag problems from 2018 to 2021 and now again that the ground effect is gone.

In one and a half hour the Spa race will commence. Good luck to both of our drivers and I hope Norris can manage to make some passes though I don't feel confident due to the fact he sacrificed top speed for aerodynamic downforce.

Wasn't the 2021 Car a straightline Rocketship? Distinctly remember us being really strong on tracks that had long straights (Monza, Sochi, Austria)

The MCL34 & 35 & 35M all had good staightline speed compared to other cars at the time.

Seems unlikely but starting on the hards and going long whilst picking up places up to p7 could pay big dividends if there's a safety car/cheap pitstop later in the race and switching to the faster mediums.

I hope you are right Mcl_G10 cause I don't feel positive due to lack of straight line speed. Hopefully there is something more to the car than meets the eye and I will be proven wrong. Finally I hope lady luck gives back to Mclaren something today.
