This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.

....... Michael has done Zero wrong
I'm afraid you are too biased my friend. Mercedes have publicly apologised for their errors, and even went to the lengths of employing someone to specifically watch what happens to his car whilst being set up, so as to rule out foul play. What happened after? A reliable W03.
I'm not excusing the team, it was poor form. But, you still maintain micheal "has done zero wrong". In that case may I suggest you watch the Singapore gp rerun?
hey why you waste time to explain the obvious? they will never understand
Maybe Mercedes didn't offer the best car but with this car Nico has more points than Michael. We talk about luck but sometimes you make your own luck. Schumi is a great driver and i'm sure he maybe want another year to prove his skill but nobody will give him this chance (a top team). He should go to a lower team like FI or Sauber and enjoy his races.
I am thinking how a man like him (seven times world champion) can accept to depend on a kid who is interested only money and fame.
For me it's humbling to see Michael in this position.
Merc choose what's the best for them so we must to understand.
This schumi/ham situation seems very similar to when schumi first retired so that kimi could drive for Ferrari in '07 and then to kimi for Alonso in '10. The kimi for Alonso situation was a bit worse because kimi still had another year on his contract but both cases are the same in that the team was thinking of the future. This has me worried that schumi will have to step aside for ham because of the "future". I still think the tyres are dumming down what the w03 is capable of. Remember in Australia, when the car changed direction like it was on rails and glued to the track and then once they found out their tyre deg was the worst out of the bunch it all went down hill slowly race after race. Here's to hoping schumi sticks around for at least another two years. I'm sure he's interested to see how the cars/engines will feel in 2014!
Clipsy, Nico has more points because he has zero retirements in 2012! MSC has 7, 5 of which are Merc's fault entirelly. Really, with all due respect, how many times should we repeat it for it to sink in? Yes he is at fault for the two crashes, and he paid with 2 retirements and consequently zero points. He is not perfect, he is human and no one denies that even with all the admiration that we have for a 43 year old able to compete with guys 20 years younger. I for one will be proud to say to my kids (if I ever have any) that once upon a time, Michael Schumacher drove for my team.
Regarding points again, if his car's reliability was the same as the other WO3, especially in the first races when the car was a front-runner, MSC could have been in front compared to Nico. I know, history isn't written with if's but then again, you can't critisize him like he is responsible for everything going wrong in this team. I feel like one of those days I will open this topic to find you accusing him of the tsunamis or world poverty for one. However, no matter how many times you repeat it, MSC is not an under-par useless driver. He is still very fast, even at qualy which is a surprise, just very error-prone. He is an asset for Mercedes for many reasons, not only because of sponsorship.
PS: I would like MSC in Sauber too, if the Mercedes option doesn't work out.

Yeah, me too, really disappointed. But I am still awaiting official confirmation either way. And even then too drama is not over for me, bcz this supposed announcement today would settle Merc but not Michael's future. And its unlikely that Michael is going to announce anything soon.
Atleast Mercedes will have a decent driver now! So we can see how good the car will be next year. Dont get me wrong, Schumacher is one of the best 3 drivers ever, but since he has come back no one can gauge how good he is now. Rosberg is no yard stick to measure against. Hamilton will be great if they get the car right. Cant wait! I better start buying some Mercedes gear

From now I am a Mercedes hater, I will pray every f*cking day to see how they fail in an embarrasing way next season.
Michael should not retite, its a big mistake, he should join another team, but its Michael, he returned to drive for Mercedes and he is not going to join another team.
This team is the epitome for disloyalty and lack of professionalism.
I regret that Michael had to sacrifice his reputation.
It's so sad.
Normally you would have to replace Rosberg. For technical problems, the driver can not be held responsible.
Personally, the Mercedes (2010) has gained a lot with the signature of MSC. This credit is used up completely to the present day.
Therefore I will never buy a Mercedes!

The Telegraph are now reporting that Hamilton has switched ... as the Telegraph pride themselves on being a quality newspaper, I think that they've probably been given official confirmation.
